I notice that enemy AI has tendency to use the doctrine which contains PGZ95 SPAAG. And it's overkill to have anti-tank unit while also good at being anti-infantry unit. PLA already have too many types of AT units (PF-98 AT squad, the old Anti-Tank Gun, RPG infantry, Type 59D Medium Tank, Type 96A MBT, etc). Or at least ATGM on PGZ95 should be a secondary capability (like ATGM in M2 Bradley or in Type 59D Tank)īecause not only it is in real life a rarity, but also for the sake of the balance of game. I forgot the reference but we read about prototype ATGMs being tested on PGZ-X variants which inspired us for this change. We made changes to PGZ95 to make it more capable in late game.
